fsksgkjg my weekend painting for my pictures&words class *O* we were supposed to "use text as a jumping off point" so I chose to do something inspired by Lord of the Flies since I love that book and have yet to draw something based off of it >>

.. I'm not sure if that boy was meant to be a Simon or a Jack. << uhm. it would mean different things depending so. you guys can choose.

Lord of the Flies was the first book that really freaked me out when I read it it middle school. This painting brings up some frightening memories, which can attest to it's quality. :)

Oh my god, I am so into Lord of the Flies. This is incredible; I can't believe it's a school project! Your teachers are such lucky people!! I love that the blood is striking without looking melodramatic. Like...you're so amazing. Thank you so, so much for sharing this.

Before I even read the description, I already knew it was a tribute to Lord of the Flies; don't know how much I really liked that book, but it was rather trippy.
